SOLID WOOD FURNITURE RESTORATION
Giving new life to timeless craftsmanship!
Solid wood furniture is truly timeless – strong, stylish, and often full of sentimental value. However, even the most durable pieces can fade, get scratched, or lose their original shine over time. Fortunately, that doesn’t mean you have to replace them. Restoring solid wood furniture is a sustainable and rewarding way to bring your furniture back to life.
Restoration often begins with simple steps – removing old lacquer or paint, sanding, and repairing surfaces. After that, you can choose whether to restore the original look or give the piece a new character with paint, stain, or oil. Each stage of the process helps highlight the natural beauty and quality of the wood.
In addition to being eco-friendly, restoring solid wood furniture is also financially sensible. Older furniture is often of higher quality than modern mass-produced alternatives. And most importantly – restored furniture carries its own story, ready to be continued.
Our own solid wood furniture is also made to be restorable. For instance, if you purchased a coffee table from us years ago and now, after moving, find that its color no longer fits your new home’s interior, don’t hesitate to contact us.
A special mention goes to our in-house press gluing technology.
This allows us to restore and re-glue split or cracked wooden lamellas and components. Thanks to this technology, valuable furniture doesn’t need to be discarded even if part of its structure is damaged – we can rebuild it to be strong and durable once again.
Send us your product details and photos – we’ll explore possible solutions together. We offer color renewal, size adjustments (for example, resizing to make a piece smaller), and replacement of various components – from wooden parts to handles, drawer slides, and door hinges.

Let us help you give your furniture a new life – smartly, sustainably, and with a personal touch.
Example: Refurbishing a 10-Year-Old Boy’s Desk
If you’ve discovered that your child has gotten a little too creative with their desk, there’s no need to worry or start shopping for new furniture – just bring the desk to MSL’s workshop, and we’ll make it look brand new!
That’s exactly what happened with one 10-year-old boy’s desk. Over the years, it had received plenty of love – along with pencil marks, stickers, scratches, and paint stains. When the child’s room got a makeover, the family wanted the desk to match the new bright and fresh look.
The result was a clean and timeless white finish. All the scratches and doodles disappeared, but the solid wood strength remained. The desk now looks as good as new and will serve its young owner for many more years. That’s the true charm of solid wood furniture – it can be restored, adapted, and is always one of a kind.
